Summary

Our client required a digital assistant that utilizes OpenAI for chat interactions and uses Google search results when information in the training data is unavailable. JBS Applify developed a robust solution featuring an intuitive user interface, seamless integration of OpenAI for query responses, and Google API for external searches. The Challenge

Our client, Matt, from Ideation Labs Inc., needed a digital assistant that could efficiently handle user queries using both its training data and external search capabilities. The primary challenge was to design a system that would seamlessly switch to Google search when the required information was not present in the training data, ensuring accurate and timely responses to user queries.

The Solution

To address this challenge, our team at JBS Applify developed an advanced digital assistant from scratch. We used OpenAI to handle user queries and integrated Google API for external searches. Rigorous research and planning were conducted to ensure the digital assistant would provide reliable, accurate, and contextually relevant responses. The development process focused on creating a user-friendly interface and optimizing search query prompts for better performance.
